What is the XENEON Edge?

The Corsair XENEON Edge is a 14.5" external touchscreen that attaches to your monitor. EdgeForge lets you build custom widgets for it — weather, stocks, crypto, sports scores, game server status, and more — then paste them directly into iCUE. No coding required.

How to Add Widgets in iCUE

Follow these steps to install your custom widgets

01

Build Your Widget

Start by selecting panels on EdgeForge. Choose from weather, stocks, crypto, sports scores, and more. Customize colors, fonts, and data sources to match your setup.

Tip: Take your time experimenting with different panels. You can always come back and rebuild if you want to change things later.

02

Click "Copy Code"

Once your widget looks perfect, navigate to the Export step. Click the "Copy Code" button to copy the complete HTML code to your clipboard.

Tip: Make sure you use "Copy Code" and not "Download File" for the best compatibility with iCUE.

03

Open Corsair iCUE

Launch the Corsair iCUE software on your Windows PC. Make sure your XENEON Edge monitor is connected and recognized by the software.

Tip: If your XENEON Edge isn't showing up, try unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable.

04

Navigate to Your XENEON Edge

In the iCUE Dashboard, find your XENEON Edge device in the left sidebar. Click on it to view the touchscreen display settings and available widget slots.

05

Add or Edit a Widget Slot

Click the "+" button to add a new widget, or click on an existing widget slot to edit it. This will open the widget configuration panel.

Tip: Plan your layout ahead of time. Full-width slots work great for detailed dashboards, while quarter-width slots are perfect for quick glances.

06

Select "Web Integration" or "iFrame"

In the widget type dropdown menu, choose either "Web Integration" or "iFrame" depending on your iCUE version. This tells iCUE you want to display custom HTML content.

Tip: If you don't see this option, make sure your iCUE software is updated to the latest version.

07

Paste the Copied Code

Click into the HTML or URL field and paste the code you copied from EdgeForge. Use Ctrl+V or right-click and select Paste.

Tip: The code is completely self-contained. You don't need to host anything or set up external files.

08

Resize the Widget

Adjust the widget size to fit your preferred slot. Choose full-width for maximum detail, half-width for side-by-side widgets, or quarter-width for compact info displays.

Tip: EdgeForge widgets are responsive and will adapt to whatever size you choose, but they look best in the slot size you selected when building.

09

Click Save

Hit the Save button in iCUE. Your widget is now live on your XENEON Edge display. Data panels will automatically refresh every 30-60 seconds.

Tip: If your widget doesn't appear immediately, try clicking the "Refresh" button in iCUE or unplugging and reconnecting your XENEON Edge.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and solutions

Widget shows blank or white screen

Check if iCUE is set to "Web Integration" or "iFrame" mode, not "Image" mode. Also ensure you pasted the complete code from EdgeForge without any missing characters.

Data not loading (weather, stocks, crypto, etc.)

The XENEON Edge needs an active internet connection to fetch live data. Check that your PC is connected to the internet and that your firewall isn't blocking the iCUE web view.

Widget looks cut off or doesn't fit properly

Adjust the slot size in iCUE to match the size you selected in EdgeForge. EdgeForge widgets are responsive but work best in full-width or half-width slots.

Fonts look wrong or missing

The widget uses web fonts that load from Google Fonts and other CDNs. Ensure your network allows font downloads and that your firewall isn't blocking font CDN domains.

Widget stopped working after iCUE update

Corsair firmware or software updates may reset custom widgets. Simply re-paste the code from EdgeForge into iCUE. Your widget code is still valid.

How do I remove a widget?

In iCUE, right-click the widget on the XENEON Edge dashboard view and select "Remove" or "Delete." You can also click the widget and choose "Clear Slot" from the configuration panel.

Can I use multiple EdgeForge widgets at once?

Yes! Build separate widgets in EdgeForge and paste each one into a different iCUE slot. You can have as many EdgeForge widgets as your XENEON Edge has available slots.

Sports scores or crypto prices not updating

These panels refresh automatically every 30-60 seconds. If data seems stale, check your internet connection. You can also try removing and re-adding the widget in iCUE to force a refresh.

Widget works in browser preview but not on XENEON Edge

iCUE's web view has some limitations compared to a full browser. Make sure you're using the "Copy Code" export (not "Download File") for maximum compatibility. Also check that you selected "Web Integration" mode in iCUE.

Widget shows a black screen with no content

This usually means the HTML code was corrupted during copy/paste. Try copying the code from EdgeForge again, and make sure you paste it in a single action without any edits.

Widget takes a long time to load or display

Initial load can take 5-10 seconds as fonts and data are fetched. If it takes longer, check your internet speed. Complex widgets with many panels may take slightly longer to render.

Colors don't match what I designed

The XENEON Edge display may have different color calibration than your monitor. Try adjusting brightness and contrast on the Edge display itself, or tweak colors in EdgeForge to compensate.
