Privacy Policy

EdgeForge is built with privacy in mind. We don't collect your personal information, we don't use cookies, and we don't require an account. Here's exactly what happens with your data — spoiler: almost nothing.

Last updated: February 2026

No Personal Information Collected

We don't know who you are, and we like it that way

EdgeForge does not require an account, login, or sign-up of any kind. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).

There are no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting scripts, and no third-party ad networks running on this site.

No Cookies

Zero. None. Not even a cookie banner.

EdgeForge does not set any cookies — not first-party, not third-party. You won't see a cookie consent banner because there's nothing to consent to.

Privacy-Friendly Analytics

We count page views, not people

EdgeForge uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Plausible is open source, does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and is fully GDPR compliant.

We use it to understand basic traffic patterns — which pages are visited and how often. That's it. No user profiles, no cross-site tracking, no data sold to anyone.

API Proxy & Server Logs

How we handle API requests on your behalf

Some widget data (like stock prices) is fetched through EdgeForge's server so that your API keys stay protected and never get exposed in client-side code.

Server logs may temporarily record IP addresses for the purpose of rate limiting and abuse prevention. These logs are not stored permanently and are never shared with third parties.

Third-Party Data Sources

Where widget data comes from

EdgeForge pulls live data from several third-party APIs to power your widgets. When you use a widget, data flows through these services:

  • Open-Meteo — Weather data (open source, no API key required)
  • CoinGecko — Cryptocurrency prices (free tier, no API key required)
  • Yahoo Finance — Stock market data (fetched via proxy)
  • BattleMetrics — Game server status
  • ESPN / Sports APIs — Live scores and standings

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. EdgeForge does not control how these providers handle data on their end. We recommend reviewing their policies if you have concerns.

Generated Widget Code

Your widgets, your device

The widget code that EdgeForge generates runs entirely in your browser or in Corsair iCUE on your local machine. Once you copy the code, it's yours. EdgeForge has no access to your running widgets and cannot see or modify them after generation.

Local Storage

Saved on your device, not ours

EdgeForge may save your builder preferences (like panel selections and layout choices) to your browser's localStorage. This data is stored entirely on your device and never leaves your browser. We don't have access to it, and it isn't transmitted anywhere.

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

Changes to This Policy

We'll keep it updated

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since EdgeForge doesn't collect email addresses, we can't send you notifications about changes — so check back here if you're curious.
